An intrusive beam and irregular framed ceiling needed correction. New exterior windows and doors will be installed. Interior doors are left in place.		The new beam will be installed flush to the bottom of the floor joists, and the entire ceiling plane lowered.

This client chose taller-than-standard cabinets and exterior doors for a more comfortable and ergonomic kitchen.

Varnishing the natural wood of the doors and windows (instead of paint), provides a nice complement to the island countertop.
